First time at the camp!
New friends, new environment, organized activities and endless play are some of the reasons kids love camping! However, for all children it was once the first time, that they had certain peculiarities such as learning how to live with other children of his age, away from home and parents.
Let's look at some things we can do to prepare the child better for integration into the unprecedented experience of camp life:
- Visit the camp, tour the sites and chat with our people.
- Explain to the child the daily camp program and if you want to try it - apply it at home! Solve any question he may have.
- Talk about activities, new friendships and also about some obligations, such as respecting the camp rules.
- Reassure him that you will visit him at the appointed days and times and make him feel confident about your feelings even if you are away from him.
- Show him your joy that he will be in a safe place with the ability to play sports and have fun with children his age. If there is a relative or a classmate, ask the people in charge to stay in the same group.
- Avoid phone calls and visits in the first days, thus facilitating the monitoring of the program and the daily routine through which the children get to know and bond with each other.
In any case, the Headquarters and our executives will be available to cooperate and communicate with you and provide the best solutions to whatever is needed.
